Longer period of time before timeout or selective timeout

Can the timeout be increased substantially (or be set as a preference by the user) so that I don't have to enter my password every time I return to MyConsole? I would like to open MyConsole at the beginning of my day and refer to it as needed. However, the timeout occurs very quickly and I need to re-enter my password almost every time. Ideally, we could access the public aspects even when the timeout occurs (e.g., ...more »

Passwords

There is no reason for having these constant password changes. This only makes it more difficult to use.

Firm vs. Individual Users

It's not clear whether you are setting up a system in which every member of a firm who files an application would need a separate uspto.gov account or whether the account should be in the name of a single firm administrator. It appears that you want individual accounts, however, firms typically use a single email address for all uspto correspondence, so it is not possible for individuals to each set up an account. Patent Docket

It would be nice if we could monitor patent applications that we have filed under our customer number right away. For some reason, it seems you have to wait until they are published.

Use myUSPTO to link Customer Numbers and EFP files

Users could have all of their authorized filing ...more »

Do not require two step authentication after first login

In addition to substantially lengthening the auto-logout time, do not require two step authentication (i.e., entering a code emailed or texted from USPTO) after a user selects the box "Remember this computer" and successfully logs in with two step authentication.

Simplified web site for experienced users

The USPTO website is good but it includes lots of explanations. These are necessary for those who are not well versed in the site but it slows down experienced users. It would be most helpful if there could be a slimmed down version without all the explanations for experienced users. A good place to access this might be the new console.

PATENT DOCKET

I use the "PATENT DOCKET" and think that it is convenient. I am however not satisfied with the link on the "Application #". When I notice that one of the applications in my collection has a status change, I want to see new documents, which are now available in the "Image File Wrapper" of the "Public PAIR". Although there is a link on the "Application #" in the "PATENT DOCKET", this link only leads to the portal of the ...more »

Personalizing Widgets

When personalizing widgets, it would be nice to be able to move a widget directly to the bottom of a column. Currently, to move a widget to the bottom, I have to move it first above the widget currently at the bottom and then move the bottom widget above the one i want at the bottom.
