Please remove the "capcha" puzzles for people signed on to EBS when accessing Public PAIR. With access to public applications not associated with the user's customer number removed in Private PAIR, it is apparently necessary to go through repeated "capcha" puzzles until one gets it right by "properly" identifying the partial blocks with crosswalks or where people had been walking their dogs or whatever the current puzzle... more »
In order to change my official contact information. I need to mail in a form or login into the Office of Enrollment of Discipline. This happens very rarely (2-10 years) and many practitioners don't bother to update it. It would be much better if it was tied to the MyUSPTO account.
Over half the time we are not able to complete a task efficiently because the EFS/PAIR system is busy. This is a daily problem that is getting worse.
USPTO: Please upgrade the system to adequately handle the system load.
Allow secondary authentication rather than restrict PAIR authentication to one of the two options (email or phone). During the recent problem with email authentication it would have been nice to be able to temporarily switch to phone authentication.
Being required to use two-factor-authorization nearly every time I login to access Private PAIR is excessive. It is a nuisance and cookies should be used to avoid requiring more than a password when using the same computer.
The Sponsorship Tool for adding delegates to my USPTO account is hard to find. Make it easier to find, by adding to the list of favorite links on the MyUSPTO home page.
Why can't we simply use files associated with our customer number to create a collection?
I'm new to this but it appears that I have to enter each application individually and manually.
This seems to be a tremendous waste of time.
Suggestions for Patent Center 1. In the USPTO Fees section, allow for searching of fees, similar to the ability to search for forms. While searching by category is nice, it would be great if we could drill down deeper (for example, searching by description of fee (key words) or fee code (when confirming correct codes were charged)). 2. There was a recent change to the MyUSPTO when filing either a new patent application or follow-on patent filing where the sponsored user's email address was pre-populated. Our firm does not use the sponsored user's email address as a way of communicating. Our firm has a general email box for communicating with the USPTO. I would like to see that change reversed as soon as possible so we can input our general email... more »
I'm a new user of the USPTO search tools. I have been using the search tools/computers at the San Jose USPTO office, but have learned that the workstation accounts are different from the My USPTO accounts and that the searches I create on the USPTO workstations does not show up in MyUSPTO web based account. Can These be connected?
Since we log into the Financial Manager with the same account that is associated with our Customer IDs it should be possible to automatically pull patents for which maintenance fees are due.

There is a block that shows the system status but currently the amount of information displayed is insufficient for any decision making/evaluation. accessing myuspto.gov is way too cumbersome. there has to be a better way than forcing recaptcha and email verification every time logging onto the system is attempted. please fix this asap.
