There are many links in the favorites section. When I click on search in TESS, I come to a page that says "Search session has expired." It would be nice just to be able to click get the TESS search page without this "expired" statement
I am using the TRADEMARK DOCKET and TRADEMARK OFFICIAL GAZETTE WATCH widgets. I clicked the slider button in TRADEMARK DOCKET to turn on Email Notifications. This triggers a pop-up. I click OK on this pop-up. Now when I scroll down to the TRADEMARK OFFICIAL GAZETTE WATCH widget and click the same email notifications slider button, something goes wrong. Instead of turning on email notifications for the GAZETTE WATCH... more »
Sometimes when searching on TESS, it is desirable to print the screens which list the returns. Copies may be sent to clients. Those pages show the search criteria. But when there are no returns in response to a search, the search criteria are not shown. It would be nice to be able to show the search criteria when there are no returns so a print of that page would show what the search was that returned no hits.
The submission links received from TEAS do not go through the MyUSPTO.gov account and thus require logging into Financial Manager to pay fees in a trademark submission. This occurs regardless of whether a trademark submission is prepared under the MyUSPTO.gov account, or via TEAS directly. It would be helpful if the TEAS Submission Link email included an additional link that launched through MyUSPTO.gov in order to... more »
In full Screen Docket view please allow a FIELD (column) (the first one on the left) to show a LOGO mark where possible.
Display designs in the docket
Right now, I have a trademark collection but when I log-in I have to click on "View a saved collection" and select it so that the trademark status updates are displayed. If you only have a single collection it should be automatically displayed. If you have multiple collections, you should be able to set a default collection to be displayed when you log in. The requirement to select your collection is unnecessary and... more »
It would be great to be able to store my payment method, so I don't have to re-enter every time.
When you create a collection of trademarks using the attorney name as the filter, the collection should update itself each time a new application is filed under that attorney's name. Otherwise, the collection is useless. In other words, I should not have to create a new collection (or have to go in physically to add the new application to the collection) every time I file a new application.
Don't require so many extra security features in password. 12-character size is too long. Need for both number and special character is too much.
Do you think you will add more features to the Trademark Docket, similar to what IP docketing software provides? A sortable column with upcoming/next due dates would be helpful as well as a calendar feature to see all due dates in a given period of time. Additionally, email reminders regarding deadlines as they approach would be extremely useful. I know this may be a lot to ask, but was wondering if any additional functionality... more »
It would be nice to be able to print a list of the trademarks in the collections and it would also be nice to see if you have the same trademark in more than one collection
Auto-link a mark to a profile/docket based on the email address in the attorney of record field. Many firms use one email address on all marks filed, so the account associated with that email address (the firm administrator) could then delegate a mark to the appropriate individual's profile, while still keeping the master list of marks in one account. In my view, this would be incredibly useful.
When I try to create a Trademark Collection with all trademarks that I am associated with (e.g. where the attorney is me) it says "More than 1000 results found."
This is rather curious because if I do the same search on TESS, it accurately identifies the less than 50 marks for which I am the attorney.
I would love to see the my.uspto.gov system add new trademarks to my docket based on the correspondence e-mail. That way I would not need to do this manually for every one of my trademark applications and would provide status change alerts without signing up for a third-party service.
